I call it "my story" — but I hope it becomes ours.

Every brand has an origin story. Most are written by marketing teams trying to make a company feel human. Mine isn't one of those.

This is genuinely my story: my skin, my frustration, my research, my small lab in Texas. I built Kaviala because I needed it, before I knew anyone else would. But a story only stays "mine" for so long. The moment you trust me enough to try what I made, it stops being just my story and starts becoming ours.

I hope that's exactly what happens here. Not a customer reading about a founder. Two people, on the same journey toward better skin, writing the next chapter together.

So let me start where every honest story should: with the truth about why this exists at all.

The product you're holding, or considering, was made by me, by hand, in small batches in my own lab in Texas. I made it for anyone who wants more from their skincare.

I didn't create these two products for mass appeal. I created them because my own skin was changing, and nothing I tried gave me what I needed. I wanted fewer steps, fewer bottles, and formulas that actually worked, without fillers, without compromises.

For years I worked in new product development at two multinational companies. I knew exactly what effective formulation looked like, and I knew most of what was on store shelves wasn't it. By the time a product reaches a retail shelf, most of what you pay for has gone to wholesalers, retailers, marketing and influencers, not the formula itself.

So I spent months reviewing research published in peer-reviewed dermatology and cosmetic science journals and chose only ingredients proven to work, at the same levels used in studies or higher. My goal was to support my skin's microbiome, restore firmness, fade dark spots, maintain hydration, and protect against UV and blue light. In short: to renew the look of aging skin and preserve its youthful appearance.

After all that work, I created two products that replace twelve: toner, vitamin C serum, peptide serum, retinol treatment, eye cream, blue-light protection, moisturizer, night cream, brightening serum, antioxidant serum, neck and décolleté cream, and facial oil.

Doing this with clean ingredients felt almost impossible. But it's done, and I'm proud of it.

I also wanted these formulas to be truly accessible. The only way to offer real effectiveness at a fair price was to bypass the entire chain between production and purchase. So I sell directly to you. Real value, real concentrations, real results.

This isn't a brand built by a team in a boardroom. It's two products built by one woman, in one lab, for the skin she sees in the mirror every day, and for yours.
